4-player co-op · squad composition

Fruit Zombie Survival 4-player co-op: build the squad around four jobs.

Most squads fail at Wave 25 because four players picked damage and nobody picked ground.

This page does one thing: it grades a four-slot squad against the jobs a lobby actually needs, then explains what to change. It does not predict a win rate, and it is not a list of “strongest classes”.

Build your squad

Set each slot to a class. The checker below reports which jobs your lobby covers and which are missing.

holdsustaincontrolburst
Squad grade: S
Covered: hold, sustain, control, burst
Balanced jobs: hold the lane, sustain a revive, control the clump, then spend burst.
No economy class. Berries reset every run; without a Nami (Mandarin Field) your squad re-buys its upgrades from zero each attempt.

The five jobs, and what each one is actually for

Job
Who
Tool
Why the squad needs it
Hold
Franky
Barricade the choke
The squad’s only ground. If nothing holds the lane, the other three jobs have nowhere to work — everyone ends up kiting instead of killing.
Sustain
Chopper
Revive window + healing
Community guides treat the medic slot as mandatory in a structured squad. A downed teammate in a 4-player lobby is a lost lane, not a lost player.
Control
Aokiji / Usopp
Ice wall, freeze, slow fields
Makes the horde readable so the burst player is not firing into a moving wall of bodies. Control before damage, every wave.
Burst
Enel
Thunder God damage
Spent after control lands, never before. Damage into an uncontrolled clump burns the cooldown and leaves the next wave free.
Economy
Nami
Mandarin Field Berry income
One member funds in-run upgrades and placed builds so the squad is not reset-poor every run. Berries reset on death — income is a role, not a chore.

Class roles are editorial, from the official class/build descriptions plus community video walkthroughs read 13–14 Sep 2026. Exact skill values are not published.

Three ways 4-player squads lose

  1. Four burst picks, no ground. Enel + Aokiji + two damage classes feels strong and folds the moment the lane shifts, because nobody owns the choke. Fix: one slot becomes Franky.
  2. Nobody plays the medic. A community guide is blunt about it: “If you’re playing with other people, make sure you have someone playing as the Chopper.” In a lobby of four, one down without a revive safety net usually cascades.
  3. Berries spent on four separate upgrades. Thirty seconds of shared income buys one strong hold build; thirty seconds of four players upgrading their own kit buys nothing that survives Wave 25. One Nami pays for the squad.
Reported, not confirmed: a creator notes that a common Ice Devil Fruit plus Aokiji produced weak individual skills and a Wave 40 loss, even though the pair unlocks the passive Brutal Ice. One account, one run — treat it as a warning that the synergy is not a free win, not as a rule.

Wave targets worth agreeing on before you queue

Milestone
Accounts that passed
What it means for a squad
Wave 10
1,421,991 accounts (62.6%)
Where squads first notice that four players standing in the same lane is not a strategy.
Wave 25
891,125 (39.2%)
The wall. About 61% of all accounts never clear it — squads fail here when nobody owns control.
Wave 50
425,999 (18.8%)
Chokes stop being enough. Burst timing and a second hold point decide the run.
Wave 100
196,947 (8.7%)
Artifact layer plus full role depth; this is where the revive economy matters most.

Counts are official badge awards, checked 14 Oct 2026 — accounts, not win rates. Full breakdown on the stats page.

What it does not prove: nobody in that video runs a four-player squad to completion, so the four-job split is our read of how the tools work, not a demonstrated win.

Squad operations that are not about classes

Boss and farming location

From one player's video: the Enel walkthrough shows the Dressrosa Colosseum as an arena location and a Bartholomew Kuma boss that drops Diamonds. One player has shown this — confirm in-game before building a plan around it. Baseline Diamond routes are documented on the Diamond farming guide.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best 4-player team in Fruit Zombie Survival?

The role pattern beats any name: Franky (hold) · Chopper (sustain) · Aokiji or Usopp (control) · Enel (burst), with Nami as the economy pick when your lobby is willing to give up a second damage slot. The checker above grades any combination against those jobs.

Do we need a Chopper?

Community guides treat the medic slot as mandatory for structured squads. In casual lobbies a second control or burst pick can substitute — but only if nobody is going down, which at Wave 25 and beyond is unlikely.

Is co-op easier than solo in Fruit Zombie Survival?

Co-op adds revives and role specialisation, which raises the ceiling, but also adds coordination cost. Solo failure is usually positioning; co-op failure is usually a missing job. Wave 25 is the common wall for both.

Who should buy the class in a squad?

Each account buys its own class with its own Diamonds. Assign jobs first, then let each player save toward the class their job needs — a four-way race to Enel leaves the squad without hold or sustain.

How do we split Berry spending?

One economy class (Nami’s Mandarin Field) funds shared placed builds; everyone else upgrades health and damage. Berries reset when the run ends, so unspent Berries are wasted, not saved.

What wave should a new squad target?

Wave 10 first — about 62.6% of accounts clear it, so it is a fair check that your choke works. Wave 25 is the first real wall (39.2% pass). Agree on the target before queuing rather than after a wipe.
