Economy · diamonds · how to earn and keep them

Fruit Zombie Survival Diamond farming: free routes, hidden pickups and reset loops.

Farm the run you can finish.

Fruit Zombie Survival has two currencies with different jobs. Berries keep the current run alive. Diamonds stay on the account for permanent progression. Confusing them leads to bad resets and worse purchases.

Berries

In-run fuel

Earned while killing zombies and spent on temporary upgrades and placed builds. The dossier says they reset when the run ends.

Diamonds

Permanent progress

Use them for lasting unlocks, fruit progression and artifact slots. Documented sources: wave milestones, quest board, 12 hidden map pickups, invite-a-friend (500 Diamonds once the friend reaches Wave 5), and codes.

Method

Measure your return

Write down your starting and ending Diamonds for three similar runs. Compare finished runs, not one lucky high-wave attempt.

A simple reset experiment

  1. Record your Diamond balance and the class/fruit you used.
  2. Run until your normal safe milestone, such as Wave 10 or 25.
  3. Record the ending balance and whether you died or extracted.
  4. Repeat twice, then compare Diamonds per finished run and time spent.

The community-reported Wave 15–20 reset loop is a candidate to test. It is not an official rate or universal optimum. Two September videos describe the same core move — clear the boss (“at least let me kill the boss so that I can earn more diamonds”), take the payout, reset. If your survival falls apart, the faster loop is not better for you.

Turn this into a decision: compare the farming scenario tier list or the budget beginner path.

Gamepasses that change the math

Pass
What it does
Worth it if…
2x Diamonds
Doubles all Diamond rewards from waves and pickups.
You farm Diamonds deliberately — it doubles the exact number this page tells you to measure.
Berry Start
Start every arena run with 2,000 Berries.
You reset often and want faster early waves.
VIP
VIP status in lobby and chat.
Cosmetic/social only — no documented economy effect.

Official developer-product descriptions (checked 14 Sep 2026). No pass is required to progress.

Hidden Diamond locations

A September guide walks all 12 pickups in about a minute — most sit along one circuit, a couple need a jump + dash, and the creator called one “impossible” to reach. Follow the route on video rather than our transcribed coordinates:

  1. Main circuit — first nine pickups: jump to 0:44 and follow.
  2. The jump + dash pair: around 1:35.
  3. The awkward last pickup: around 1:56.

Video-observed (Sep 2026). Positions are shown on screen; we don't publish coordinates we can't re-verify in-game.

Field reports

Community video reports · Sep 2026: One guide counts 12 hidden Diamond pickups around the map (two need a jump-then-dash); another measures a boss-reset loop at ~320 Diamonds per ~1-minute cycle (~19k/hour projected, auto-skip + solo). Diamond locations ↗ Reset loop ↗

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Berries and Diamonds?

Berries are temporary in-run fuel that resets when the run ends; Diamonds are permanent account progression. Confusing them leads to bad resets and worse purchases.

How do you get Diamonds fast?

Wave milestones and hidden map pickups are documented. The community-reported boss-reset loop (~320 Diamonds/cycle, ~1 min) is the fastest player-measured method — verify it against your own runs.

Where are the hidden Diamonds?

A Sep 2026 guide counts 12 around the map; two require a jump-then-dash. We do not publish coordinates we cannot re-verify in-game.

Artifact layer (video-observed): you get a free artifact roll; equipped artifacts grant buffs — one example deals 3 damage on contact and chills zombies, slowing them 35% for 3 seconds. Equip via the top-left profile; more Diamonds unlock more artifact slots, which is why gem farming compounds.
Invite a friend (after they reach Wave 5): a September guide reports 500 Diamonds when a friend joins your run — the cheapest documented source.
Upgrade costs exist: Enel's final skill Raigo needed in-run saving up before it could be unlocked (video-observed). Which currency upgrades consume — Berries or Diamonds — is not labeled in captions; test in-game.
Berry Start is a gamepass described as 2,000 starting Berries. The source does not establish that VIP multiplies it; treat the pass description as the boundary.
