Advertising disclosure

This site carries advertising, and that is its only commercial placement: there are no affiliate links, no sponsored pages, and nobody pays for coverage of a fruit or a class.

Who serves the ads

Ads are served by Adsterra, a third-party ad network. The ad scripts load from highrevenueformat.com and profitableratecpmnetwork.com. Those scripts decide which ad you see — we do not sell placements directly and we do not choose the creative.

The four formats that are actually live

728×90 leaderboard — a banner in the page flow on content pages.
160×600 sticky rail — a banner pinned beside the content while you scroll. Desktop only.
Social bar — a floating overlay the network injects into the corner of the page.
Popunder — opens one extra browser tab or window in the background. See the exact trigger below.

The popunder, precisely: it is not triggered on your first page view. From the second page you open in one browser session, the popunder script loads about 30 seconds after the page does, and it runs at most once per session. It opens a background tab — it never replaces or navigates away from the page you are reading.

The pages with no ads

About, Contact, this page, Privacy and Terms carry no ad unit, no social bar and no popunder. Analytics still runs on them; the privacy policy covers exactly what that means.

Advertising cannot change what this site says

The rankings, the wave walls, the prices and the evidence labels are editorial. An advertiser never sees a claim before it is published and cannot approve, soften or remove one. If a commercial placement ever required a page to change a fact, the placement would be refused instead of the fact.

The cheapest pick on the tier list outranks the most expensive one in front of the same ads, because price is the last thing the ranking uses. That ordering is the whole point of the page and is not for sale.
