The official description confirms that players pick a One Piece character to place special builds. The public sources name six dev-product classes, a seventh “Trapper” reported by one creator, and three secret-passive badges; they do not publish a complete twenty-fruit name roster.
Enel for damage, Aokiji for control, Chopper for co-op support. Two separate September creator guides rank Enel the strongest damage class with Aokiji as its control counterpart, and one co-op guide calls Chopper the medic every team should have. Those are player rankings — the game publishes no class ranking and no class tier list of its own, so treat them as the strongest named answer rather than developer order.
The best class to buy first is the job your lane is missing, not the class at the top of that ranking. Enel costs the most and needs a lane that already holds; Franky is the cheapest real hold and supplies the choke that lets a burst class work. Both answers are true at once — one is about ceiling, the other about order.

Equipping the Lightning Devil Fruit shows RESONANCE — UNLOCKED: lightning abilities also trigger nearby lightning rods and shrines.

A synergy is a class plus one specific fruit unlocking something neither has alone. Two are documented so far — and the cheapest one uses a Common fruit.
Why it matters: this is the only place in the game where a cheap Common item changes what a top-tier class does. Bands and skip prices are on the fruits database; the squad context is on the co-op page.

What it does not prove: one session’s shop is not a permanent price list, and it does not explain the gap between these Robux figures and older developer-product listings — that is why both readings are shown.
The Diamond ladder is the number you actually pay. Note its shape: the top two classes cost over four times the bottom two — which is why the first class you buy should be chosen by the job you are missing rather than by ceiling.

The game gives you two try-before-you-buy paths, both visible on screen in a September walkthrough: SHOWCASE in the class shop, which drops you into a lobby test area against dummy targets so you can feel the skills, and PLAYTEST on a fruit, which takes it into a real run. Neither costs anything. If a class or fruit is a stretch for your Diamonds, test it instead of letting a tier list decide for you. That turns every “is it worth it?” question into something you can answer yourself in two minutes.
Enel and Aokiji (named Kuzan in One Piece canon) each have a named discovery badge added 1 September 2026, and a third belongs to Perona — that one was first listed in the 17 October 2026 read at 7 accounts, five of them awarded the day before. None of the three badges lists its trigger. Try one dedicated session: play through Wave 10, place the build, and test the abilities and map interactions you can see. Record the result rather than following a made-up sequence. If it does not pop, treat the trigger as unresolved and check updates later.

Equipping it is reported to unlock the passive Resonance, a chaining lightning effect — the same pattern as the Ice Devil Fruit unlocking Brutal Ice for Aokiji. One player has reported this; the game does not publish the trigger.
